We recently moved from Texas back to my home state of Missouri and bought a small farm near Kansas City.

I’m working at health information technology company Cerner in platform engineering dealing with containers, kubernetes, and AWS.

Since COVID-19 we’re working remote so I have to suffer my days at home on our 10-acre property with a 2-acre lake. Not so bad. We’re raising ducks, geese, and guineafowl.

It’s not all smooth sailing. Back in late May I accidentally chopped about an inch off the middle finger on my right hand while working on our tractor. Healing is going well but this is the first major health issue I’ve ever had so it’s been something.
